Attending to hygiene needs of a patient is an unpleasant task. BioPraxis is working on “Hygiene Aid Robot (HARt). This product is designed to help People who cannot take care of their hygiene needs of passing urine and stools themselves due to immobility /incontinence . A person could summon or care giver could provide this device as way of attending to hygiene needs. It addresses a significant part of the problem.  This device is fitted with a suction cups that fits the groin area of a person. This cup can receive urine and faecal matter and transport it to storage unit.  Cup also supplies water for cleaning and warm air for drying body parts. This automated unit has sensors, vacuum water and air supply system.  

These products are being offered with International collaboration from respective technology partners as well as being customised for the Indian socio economic conditions. The setting of product usage i.e. Home, Hospital or Old age home determines its features.
